The monotype print, a natural extension of drawing and painting, lends itself to experimentation and spontaneous works. Subjects will be still life, a model and the student's choice of landscape or non-representational. Ink is applied to a smooth plate with a brush or brayer resulting in painterly images transferred to paper. The students will work at their own level with instruction, demonstration and guidance.
